Guitar player, producer, composer and M.D. Soren Reiff

Recording artist, who has released three albums. Soren has five books published as an author, and has composed and produced music for TV-shows, cd’s, commercials and movies. Soren has worked as Musical Director on some of the most popular TV-shows on Danish National TV.

Soren Reiff has performed live, on TV or on recordings with the following artists

Chaka Khan, David Sanborn, Robert Palmer, Randy Crawford, Mike Stern, Michael Brecker, Toots Thielemans, David Garfield, Eric Marienthal, Rick Braun, Paul Young, Michael Ruff, Mark King/Level 42, Curtis Stigers and many others. You can see more detailed list here.

2013-2015

  • Nominated by Ace Entertainment/Studio Jams to be the “Most Inspiring Guitarist” together with: Joe Bonamassa, Derek Trucks, Dean Brown, Gil Parris and Chuck Loeb
  • Live in Denmark with Garfield/Reiff project
  • Third album release – “Gratitude”, featuring: David Garfield, Gary Novak, Jimmy Haslip and many others

2011-2013

  • Guest appearances with Russel Ferrante, Jeff Richman, Jimmy Haslip and Henrik Engqvist

2009

  • Tv-show “Studiojams” – Recorded an episode/session with violinist Tracy Silverman in Gothenburg, Sweden
  • Guest appearance in Copenhagen DK with Jeff Richman, Jimmy Haslip and Henrik Engqvist

2008

  • Fourth book “Gode Råd … er guld værd” is published
  • ”Reiffs Riffs II”, Sorens third instructional guitar book is published
  • Hired to establish the Songwriter and Producer course at DRH

2007

  • American TV-show ”Studiojams” – an episode recorded in Copenhagen DK, shown on BET in US
  • Musical Director on TV-show: ”Danmarksindsamlingen”, Danish National TV – DR1
  • Composes and produces theme songs for TV and radio programs

2005-2006

  • Musical Director at CIFF’s show in Tivoli Gardens, shown live on national TV – TV2
  • VIP folder with Soren Reiff presets for the amp-modelling software “Amplitube II”
  • Played with David Garfield and Karizma, Lost Lobotomys, DG & The Cats and David Garfields Latin All Stars
  • Signature music for the national Danish radio program “Fredag på farten”

2004-2005

  • Produces the album – ”One side of me” solo album from Danish soul singer Rikke Mølgaard
  • Plays in Europe with David Garfield and the cats (Steve Ferrone, Alex Ligertwood, Will Lee)
  • First book ”Reiffs riffs” is published
  • Produces the album: ”Pop Bag Baren” featuring the cream of Danish artists

2001-2003

  • The album ”Reiff jr – Funky Flavas” is released, featuring: Michael Ruff, Mike Stern, Nabiha
  • Musical Director of the “New Years Show of ARTE”. Each show features more than 150 artists

2000-2001

  • Toured Malaysia with Christina Boelskifte
  • Toured for the first time with keyboard player David Garfield
  • Toured with Danish Music Awards winner: Infernal
  • Toured with Danish Music Awards nominee : Blue Eyes/Julie Rugaard

1998-1999

  • For 3 seasons Reiff was Musical Director of the TV-show “The Big Class Reunion” with a national market share of 67%
  • Soren Reiff was included in the “International Who’s Who In Music”

1997

  • Musical Director on 10 TV-shows: “It’s Saturday Night” TV3, a show with a market share of 45%

1986-96

  • 1 season – Guitar player in house band for the TV-show “Safari”
  • 2 seasons of the Danish version of the TV-show “Don’t forget Your Toothbrush”
  • Numerous seasons – House band of “Meyerheim & Co.” a Danish version of The Tonight Show
