Welcome to the product reviews
Personally do I often get caught by a person’s excitement about a certain guitar or piece of equipment. When this happens I want to find as much information about that item as possible. Not necessarily product reviews with specifications and data – that’s always available on the manufacturer’s website. I want users personal experiences, their considerations and stories about that product. That’s the type of information you’ll find here.
I’ll write about products that I use, have considered using or for some reason have checked out. My honest and personal opinion. I’ll let you know what I expected before I started using the item and after I’ve used it. If you’re looking for detailed specifications you’ll have to visit the manufactures website. These posts are about my experiences, but of cause you’ll only get the technical information needed to understand what’s special about the item.
Below you will find links to my product reviews
Here’s an overview of the product reviews I’ve done, so far – enjoy π
Strymon Riverside Multistage Drive Pedal

The Strymon Riverside is pretty hyped at the moment … It looked like everything I needed when I read the specs. I went to check it out before ordering – here’s my thoughts after playing with it for a while.
The Empress Tape Delay

I tell you about my experiences with the Empress Tape Delay Pedal. You’ll find the review here.
The Empress Buffer+

It’s wise to use money on a buffer. Especially if you have more than a couple of pedals between your guitar and amp or using long cables. You can read the review here.
Cioks Ciokolate – a professional power supply

The Cioks Ciokolate is a serious and professional power supply – strong as an elephant. It’s available to adapt to different surroundings just as many human beings and delicious as a candy bar. Read more about this power supply here.

You can read review of the power supply I’m currently using for my pedalboard here.
TC Electronic Flashback delay

And here you can read about the Flashback delay stomp box from TC Electronic.
Radial Tonebone Trimode tube distortion

The Radial Tonebone Trimode tube distortion is at this moment my main overdrive pedal, you can read about my experiences with it here.
The Empress Effects Compressor

Here’s a very personal review of the great Empress Effects Compressor. It could be said very shortly: buy it π If you want more details you can read about the compressor here.
Cioks Pussy Power supply – part 2

Here’s another post about my experiences with the Cioks Pussy power supply, traveling overseas with the Pussy Power in my pedal board
If you’re into gear, you can surf around on this blog. Try for instance to look in my “amps and pedals” category.

Buffers and pick-ups, that’s super Jakob … I’ll dig into that I guess π
All the very best
Soren

Hey Mads – did you see this .. you suggested that a long time ago, and I did write about it … http://reiff.dk/blog/?p=1212
How about talking about the difference between overdrive/distortion/fuzz and then giving your opinion on what is better for what.
Also since this is something i assume is meant to reach an above average crowd, talking about the order of your pedals and giving the long speach about how the tuner is an evil sound-sucking pedal π
Have a good weekend π
Great suggestions Rasmus.
Seems like the workshop the other day has made some inspiration – great!!
Concerning the order of my pedals, you can also visit this post: http://reiff.dk/blog/my-amps-and-pedals/my-pedalboard/
I’ll get back to the subjects you suggest – thank you – and have a good one yourself π
